Audio Moto Championship is a motorcycle racing audiogame, that is a game for the visually impaired. It features simple graphics and enables play with an array of audio cues (like a beeping warning when approaching the side of the track) and spoken narration (the track is described slightly in advance like a rally navigator would do). The player can pilot a variety of motorbikes competing in races all around the globe in 3 different modes:
I independently fully developed Audio Moto Championship in Unity, initially as part of a curricular internship for the Computer Engineering bachelor's. I partnered with a local game studio, “AUDIOGAMES Associazione di Promozione Sociale” (Nicolas Eymerich, Audio Rally Racing), to help them bring their latest project from concept to published product. I would later keep developing and maintaining it for an additional year. I worked on almost every aspect of the game: from game, systems and mechanic design to code, level design, 3D art, UI and UX design, VIP customer interaction (early access customers could buy special editions that would allow them to request personalized content to be included in the game), with the exception of sound design and the managerial part (finance, marketing, etc.), improving upon their existing previous work whenever I could.
